Things to do in Panama City

  When I travel, I categorize the places where I go into two categories. The first one is a place where I could go back anytime because it was so exciting. The second category is a place which is exciting too, but to see it once, is quite enough. When I was about to go to Panama City, I was excited and looking forward for a lot of places of interest. But it turned out that this spot is actually not a tourist friendly place because there are not really much things to do in Panama City. For that reason Panama City landed on my “see it once is enough” list. Of course, it is just my opinion and someone other would disagree with that. So read on and make your own opinion. Actually there are only two of nameable tourist attractions in Panama City – the Old Panama, called Casco Viejo and the Metropolitan Natural Park. There are also a botanical garden and a museum. Photography and Travel in Panama – Activities at Yandup Lodge

At Yandup you can do some activities (included), offered by the Kuna people but don´t expect anything extraordinary. Every day, from about 9:30 am to 12 am you can go with your guides by boat to another small islets with beautiful and scenic beaches for snorkeling or swimming. Besides that you can visit from 15:30 pm to 17:00 pm the “comunidad” with a guide and he will explain some interesting things about the Kuna people and lead you through their settlement.

Travel and Photography in Panama – Yandup Island

Please note: to see the first blogpost about my Panama trip, click here, folks. After appr. 40 minutes the plane started to descend. I looked out of the window, but I couldn’t find any signs of civilization. Below us were a mere of jungle and a stripe of a coast in a visible nearness. After 3 more minutes I finally saw it: a tiny stripe near the coast. It was the landing strip and during the last section the pilot began to steer the plan pretty steep downwards.
